Office based volunteering

Our office is located in Stockport near Manchester. We have a team of volunteers who support us in the day to day running of our office and the services we provide. This role requires a minimum of 4 hours (in one day) a month and can be done 24/7. We run on a self-roster to enable flexibility.

The role typically includes basic admin, sorting shop orders, preparing for study days and arranging resources.

You must be aged over 18, be willing to have a DBS. All training will be provided.

Remote Volunteering

Parent support volunteer 

The parent support volunteer role will enable families to feel supported when partaking in support groups, parent speaker programmes and when reaching out for support.

This role requires commitment of at least 2 hours per week and can be conducted using a home laptop or computer.

You will be required to interact with bereaved families and will receive training to support you in this role.

We request that due to the nature of this role that you are aged over 18 to apply.

Social Media Support volunteer

Our social media enables us to reach a wider audience of families, health professionals and students.

We fill our platforms with information, advice, insights and training to enable people to feel more informed.

This role requires at least 2 hours per week of commitment remotely using a laptop or computer to help support creation of our social media content, information and research.

General Remote Volunteer

Our charity is ran by a very small team who are mostly voluntary, every role is pivotal for helping us continue and being a general volunteer can make a significant difference to how we can continue.

This role will involve at least 2 hours commitment per week that can be done flexibly around your current commitments.

The role will involve supporting the day to day running of the charity including background admin to support enquiries and bookings.
